Welcome to Pamtingpa Center
We are a Buddhist study center located in Tonasket Washington. We study Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and skillful means to help us lead compassionate lives. We are blessed to have the guidance of
Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche and Yangsi Rinpoche.
Pamtingpa Tuesday Classes
Pamtingpa Room upstairs at the Community Cultural Center in Tonasket
Beginning on January 8th, Pamtingpa Center will offer a new series of 8 classes taught by Ven. Tenzin Tharchin.
This class will offer a basic introduction to Tibetan Buddhism, with meditation and discussion. The class will focus on The 37 practices of a Bodhisattva, a short text that describes the entire path to enlightenment or Lam Rim.
If you are interested in purchasing the book, it is called "Transforming the Heart" by Geshe Jampa Techog. This class is good for people new to Buddhism as well as older students.
Tenzin Tharchin is a Tibetan Buddhist Monk from Ireland who has taught Pamtingpa classes in the past. He currently cares for Lama Zopa Rinpoche's house in Washington. We look forward to meditation and discussion with Tharchin.
Tuesday Class will begin at 5:30 and run to 7:30. Tea will be offered, and people are welcome to join in at any point.
Classes are held in our upstairs room at the Community Cultural Center in Tonasket. Donations gratefully accepted to cover expenses Everyone is welcome
